School Occupational Therapist | Support Students with Needs - Lamar, Colorado
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) ready to make a real difference in a specialized education setting? Lamar, CO is seeking a committed OT for the 2025–2026 school year, beginning August 5, 2025, and ending May 22, 2026. This position focuses on providing meaningful support to students with significant disabilities across the PreK–12 grade range.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to PreK–12 students
-
Serve a caseload of students with severe disabilities
-
Collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals, and service providers to promote student independence and function
-
Utilize Frontline (Enrich) IEP system for documentation and goal tracking
-
Work a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule (no school on Fridays)
What You’ll Need:
-
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
-
Active Colorado OT License
-
Certification through the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)
-
Colorado Educator Certificate (required for school-based practice)

Previous experience working with students who have severe disabilities is strongly preferred
-
Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
