This opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person services within a K-12 school setting in Lakota, North Dakota. The position is a contract role for the current school year, offering a full-time, onsite schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech-language disorders
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Valid North Dakota state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, accredited by ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association)
- Experience working in school-based speech therapy preferred
- Ability to work onsite 37.5 hours per week throughout the contract duration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
