Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Lakewood, Washington (ZIP 98499). This role offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students across multiple grade levels by providing comprehensive speech and language services within a supportive and collaborative school community.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify student needs.

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's communication goals.

Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication success.
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
-
Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility discussions, and student support planning.

Provide training and consultation to school staff and families on communication strategies and supports.
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Valid or eligible Washington State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows welcome to apply.

Strong knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and school-based therapy methods.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in school or pediatric settings.

Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.

Familiarity with AAC devices and teletherapy platforms.
