A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a K-12 school located in Lakeville, MN. This contract role spans from January 20th through June 4th, with a weekly commitment of 36.25 hours. The position focuses on serving a caseload of 30-40 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade within Setting 3 and 4 environments at a single educational facility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Provide therapy services for a diverse caseload within the North Education Center.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Prior experience working in school settings with K-12 students.
- Strong ability to develop and adapt intervention strategies for varying communication disorders.
- Skillful in working within Setting 3 and 4 educational environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
