A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-12 school in Lakeville, MN, from January 20th through June 4th. This position serves approximately 30-40 students in grades K-12 within Setting 3 and 4 environments at the North Education Center, working 36.25 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive speech-language therapy services to a varied caseload of students across the K-12 spectrum.
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Utilizing evidence-based practices to address communication disorders in accordance with school district guidelines.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in a school setting, particularly with diverse student populations.
- Skillful in delivering therapy within Setting 3 and 4 environments.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
