An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide long-term substitute services in a vibrant school setting serving grades 5-8. This contract position runs from March through June 2026, supporting both general and special education students in a dynamic educational environment.

Location: Spring Lake Park, MN
Position Type: Contract (Long-Term Substitute)
Grade Levels: 5-8 (Westwood Intermediate)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services aligned with students’ IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support students’ communication needs
  • Utilize creative and effective strategies to engage students within general and special education settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with district and state guidelines

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree (M.A./M.S. or Ph.D.) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Minnesota State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology
  • Strong organizational and creative planning abilities
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively within a school team
  • Clinical Fellows seeking authentic school-based experience are encouraged and supported
