Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - Lakeville, MN
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Lakeville, MN, serving a high school environment for grades 7-12. This role offers an opportunity to provide specialized support one day per week, with the potential to increase hours by combining this position with another part-time assignment at a nearby school. This could enable full-time benefits by totaling approximately 30 hours weekly. The assignment is a contract role, running from ASAP through May 28th, coinciding with the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades 7-12
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure with certification of clinical competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings and familiarity with healthcare and pediatric SLP services
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or ongoing status acceptable
- Ability to work effectively within an educational team and adapt therapy approaches to meet student needs
