A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at an elementary school setting located in Lakeville, MN. The position offers a part-time schedule of 20-24 hours per week for the current school year (CSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students’ needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
- Provide direct therapy services both individually and in small groups.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Proven experience working in elementary school environments.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
