Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Lake Oswego, Oregon
An exciting contract opportunity is now available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to make a meaningful impact in the pediatric setting. Located near beautiful Lake Oswego, OR, this in-person role at the Tualatin Early Childhood Center presents a wonderful chance to work with young learners, supporting their communication and developmental needs during the 2026-2027 academic year.
The contract is set to begin August 24, 2026, and run through September 30, 2026, with the potential for extension. This is a fantastic setting if you’re passionate about early childhood intervention and eager to collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
Desired Qualifications and Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid State SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy, preferably within a school environment
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Effective communicator and strong team collaborator
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring tailored therapy plans
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals on student progress
- Documenting and maintaining accurate, confidential records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Fostering a supportive, encouraging environment for students to achieve communication goals
