School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Lacey, Washington

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school district located in Lacey, WA. This contract position for the current school year involves providing in-person support to students across two school levels: elementary (grades K-6) and secondary (grades 7-12). The schools are housed in multiple buildings located within a few miles of one another, creating a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in person
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with district and regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification/licensure with a focus on school-based practice
- Experience working with children across elementary and secondary grade levels
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
- Flexibility to work 37.5 hours per week with schedules already established but adjustable as necessary
- Commitment to in-person service delivery (remote options are not available for this role)
