Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering speech therapy addressing areas such as assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive/expressive language delays
- Conducting diagnostic and evaluation testing as appropriate for student needs
- Preparing clear, comprehensive reports based on assessments and observations
- Working effectively with students with moderate to severe disabilities
- Developing and maintaining Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives
- Collaborating with parents and colleagues to discuss student progress and required interventions
Qualifications for the role are:
- Hold or qualify for an Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and a teaching license from the Department of Education (IDOE)
- Preferably 1 to 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
