Step into a contract-based position serving K-12 students in a supportive educational setting for the new school year. This full-time opportunity, beginning in August, offers a rewarding caseload of approximately 70 students and aligns you with a district dedicated to fostering student achievement. Two positions are available—one open exclusively to SLPs with CCC, and the other open to both licensed SLPs and qualified SLPAs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an SLP (with Certificate of Clinical Competence) or SLPA as required by state regulations
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students across diverse backgrounds and needs
- Ability to independently manage a caseload, delivering evaluations, intervention services, and progress monitoring
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnering with educators, other therapists, and families
- Familiarity with IEP development and documentation best practices
Anticipated Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of roughly 70 students spanning Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop appropriate treatment plans, and track student progress toward goals
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings and documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines
- Offer consultative support and training to staff and families to help maximize student communication outcomes
- Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain compliance with all district and state requirements
