Pediatric Speech Therapist in Kingwood, TX
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available at an elementary school serving Kindergarten through 2nd-grade students in Kingwood, TX. This contract role runs during the current school year (CSY), providing 35-40 guaranteed hours per week, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will support young learners by delivering specialized speech therapy services tailored to their developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress monitoring for K-2 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide direct therapy services in-person and via teletherapy platforms as appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with Texas state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid TX SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) license required
- Experience with pediatric populations and school-based speech therapy preferred
- Strong skills in teletherapy service delivery and documentation
- Ability to work effectively with elementary-aged children and multidisciplinary teams
