A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide comprehensive support to K-12 students in a school setting. The successful candidate will initially cover maternity leaves in the Lackawanna County area and, in the spring, work with itinerant students in the Dunmore, PA region. This position requires proven school-based experience, along with the ability to obtain and maintain all necessary Pennsylvania professional clearances.
Key qualifications and requirements include:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active Pennsylvania SLP licensure
- Experience working within K-12 school environments
- Ability to complete or possess current Pennsylvania clearances
- Reliable transportation for on-site responsibilities
- Availability for a Zoom interview as part of the selection process
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
- Support itinerant students through travel between assigned school sites within the region
This role is strictly onsite, providing direct, hands-on services without remote or VOCO options.
