Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Forest City, NC. This full-time position runs through June 2026 and offers a consistent schedule within school hours. The selected SLP will provide direct and indirect services to students, working collaboratively with teachers and related service providers to support communication and academic success.
Caseload size and student age range will be determined prior to placement.
Responsibilities
- 
	
Provide speech and language therapy services to students across assigned grade levels.
 - 
	
Conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and contribute to IEP development.
 - 
	
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
 - 
	
Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and service logs, per district and state guidelines.
 - 
	
Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and staff development sessions as required.
 
Qualifications
- 
	
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
 - 
	
Current North Carolina SLP License (or eligibility).
 - 
	
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) welcome to apply.
 - 
	
Experience in a school-based setting preferred.
 - 
	
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
