Make a meaningful impact as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant and supportive school community for the 2026–2027 school year. You’ll work with an engaged caseload of PreK and grades 4–12 students, supporting their communication growth and overall academic success. Full-time opportunities are available across either Thomasville Primary or a combination of Liberty Drive Elementary and Thomasville Middle School, serving approximately 35–40 students.
Required Qualifications:
- Current North Carolina NCDPI SLP license (must be actively confirmed)
- SLP-CCC credential (Clinical Certificate of Competence)
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Demonstrated expertise in ECATS for student data, compliance, and documentation
- Experience with Infinite Campus systems
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Please note: SLP CFs and SLPAs will not be considered for this role
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services in line with individualized educational plan (IEP) goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and prepare evaluation reports
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, monitoring progress and adjusting as needed
- Document all services and student outcomes accurately and timely in ECATS and Infinite Campus
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, multidisciplinary colleagues, and families
- Provide consultative and classroom-based support to teachers and staff
- Adhere to local, state, and federal regulatory guidelines for special education
This is a contract position for the academic year, beginning mid-August 2026 through early June 2027, providing a stable, full-time schedule.
