Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following California state and district qualifications:

Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board
-
OR valid California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech, and Hearing
-
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) may also be considered
-
Current TB test, fingerprint clearance, and background check as required by the school district
-
Prior school-based experience preferred, but not required
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals
-
Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and IEP team members to support student progress
-
Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and IEP reports in compliance with district and state regulations
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations and goal development
-
Provide consultation to staff regarding communication supports in the classroom
