A dynamic school-based position is available in Kent, WA, seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support student communication needs within a school setting. The position is full-time through May 5, 2026, transitioning to part-time (0.4 FTE) thereafter, with the possibility of continuation at full-time depending on staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, assessment, and evidence-based therapy to students with speech and language impairments
- Collaborate with educational teams, families, and caregivers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to enhance student outcomes
Qualifications:
- OSPI ESA certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience in school-based SLP roles, preferably including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
