A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide dedicated support to middle school students and homebound learners in Issaquah, WA. This full-time position plays a vital role in enhancing communication skills and educational accessibility for secondary students within a dynamic school environment.

Location: Issaquah, WA
Duration: Full Semester (ASAP – June 17, 2026)
Schedule: Monday 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (homebound/AAC support); Tuesday – Friday 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (middle school students)
Setting: On-site only, with 1 day focused on homebound students and AAC/Augmentative & Alternative Communication device support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to middle school students, totaling approximately 725 minutes per month
  • Provide specialized support for homebound students, including working with AAC devices and eye gaze technology
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state standards
  • Participate in transition planning and facilitate communication to support both academic and social development

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current SLP license and ESA certification through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or equivalent school-based experience
  • Strong competency working with AAC devices and supporting diverse student needs
  • Experience in a school or educational setting, particularly with secondary age groups
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an educational team and adapt to dynamic student caseloads
