This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking to make an impact in a K-12 school setting. Located in Kent, WA, the contract position runs for the full school year and requires onsite attendance due to union agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students across K-12 grades
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify communication disorders
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Washington state license for Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Educational Service Associate (ESA) credential for work in school settings
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working within a K-12 school environment
- Ability to work onsite only; virtual services are not permitted in this district due to collective bargaining agreements
- Position does not include Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
