Speech Language Pathologist in Kennewick, WA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available serving K-12 students within multiple school districts in the Kennewick, WA area. This contract position offers the chance to work collaboratively with diverse student populations, supporting their communication and language development across multiple educational settings throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and measure progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines
- Serve multiple districts in the region, adapting services to meet varying student and school requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP licensure appropriate for school settings
- Experience working within K-12 educational environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and educational teams
- Ability to manage and prioritize caseloads across multiple districts
