Position Description:
We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students in Kennewick, WA (ZIP 99336). This is a rewarding opportunity to provide life-changing support in a diverse and growing community, working with students who benefit from innovative, student-focused communication services across early learning, elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, voice, fluency, and pragmatic language skills.

Develop and implement individualized, strengths-based therapy plans aligned with student needs and educational goals.

Provide direct therapy services in both pull-out and inclusive classroom models.

Collaborate with general and special education teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support whole-child development.

Contribute to multidisciplinary teams during eligibility assessments, IEP meetings, and student planning sessions.

Maintain timely and compliant documentation of evaluations, services, and student progress.

Provide training, strategies, and communication supports to school staff and parents.

Remain up to date on best practices in school-based therapy, IDEA regulations, and cultural responsiveness in service delivery.
Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Valid Washington State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate or eligibility to obtain.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome and fully supported.

Familiarity with IEP development, IDEA regulations, and school-based intervention models.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a school, clinical, or pediatric setting.

Bilingual or multilingual skills, especially Spanish, are highly valued.

Knowledge and use of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) systems.

Comfort with digital platforms for documentation, collaboration, and (if applicable) teletherapy
