Make a meaningful impact working with middle and high school students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming academic year. This on-site contract role offers the opportunity to work at a single school with a diverse caseload of approximately 45-55 students. You’ll contribute to a dynamic educational environment, collaborating with staff and families to support student communication, social skills, and academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active Georgia state SLP license and GA PSC (Professional Standards Commission) credential
- Experience working with school-age populations, especially middle and high school students, is highly preferred
- Must be able to complete required credentialing (including fingerprinting and drug screening) prior to start date
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with families
- Passion for fostering student growth and advocating for student needs within the education setting
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services and interventions to students on assigned caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain detailed progress documentation
- Collaborate with special education teams and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt intervention techniques to meet the individual needs of middle and high school students
- Educate and consult with teachers and parents to support carryover and best practices
