School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Kennesaw, Georgia

Take the next step in your speech-language pathology career by supporting students in a dynamic, full-time contract role for the upcoming school year. You’ll be working on-site at a single school in the Dallas, GA area, partnering closely with staff and families to foster communication success for students.
In this position, you will utilize your expertise as an SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide tailored speech-language services. Collaborating with educators, you’ll assess students, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and track progress to help each student thrive.
Qualifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required – SLPAs are not eligible
- Valid and active Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GA PSC) credential
- Professional license for the state of Georgia
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Eligibility to complete background check, including fingerprinting and drug screening
- Experience in school-based settings is highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students, supporting their academic and social growth
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs
- Maintain student records and accurate documentation
- Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and parent conferences as required
- Serve at one dedicated school location to ensure consistent, ongoing care
