Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic, full-time contract position based in the Keller, TX area. This opportunity offers hands-on engagement across elementary and high school settings for the 2026–2027 academic year, with position start as soon as possible and extending through May 21, 2027.
In this role, you will work on site—providing essential therapy, case management, and supervision of SLPAs. The positions are itinerant and may involve collaborating with both elementary and high school students, supporting their communication needs as they progress through critical learning years. Two distinct opportunities are available: one focusing on supervision and case management across two campuses, and another focusing on therapy and management at one campus.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Hold an active Speech Language Pathology license in Texas
- Experience in school-based SLP roles, ideally working with ages K-12
- Confidence managing IEPs, delivering individual and group therapy, and supporting instructional collaboration
- Capacity to supervise SLPAs and manage varied caseloads across different age groups
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) skills appreciated
- Able to successfully complete or verify TEA background fingerprinting (process can take up to 10 business days)
- Organized, flexible, and comfortable working in an itinerant role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, addressing a variety of communication challenges
- Manage and maintain caseload documentation, IEPs, and progress reports
- Supervise and mentor SLPAs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
