We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in school settings to fill a maternity leave contract position in Denton, TX. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support students' communication needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students in an educational setting
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts to support student achievement
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working as an SLP in school environments
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders commonly found in school-aged children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work onsite with one day per week option for remote work
