This contract position offers the opportunity to provide in-person speech therapy services primarily at an elementary school setting in Keller, TX. The role is open to licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) ready to contribute to a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech therapy services to children, focusing on various communication needs.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and interpret findings to inform individualized therapy plans.
  • Write clear, detailed reports documenting progress and therapy outcomes.
  • Monitor student progress regularly to adjust therapeutic approaches as needed.
  • Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to collaborate on student goals and services.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or experience as an SLPA.
  • Experience working with pediatrics and familiarity with school-based speech therapy protocols.
  • Comfort with teletherapy services is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
  • Demonstrated skills in evaluation, report writing, and progress monitoring.
