A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in a K-12 public school located in Katy, TX, approximately 30 minutes west of Houston. This onsite contract role is focused on providing direct pediatric speech and language services within a school setting. Part-time candidates may be considered if they are available to work 2, 3, or 4 full days per week; partial days are not accommodated. Assessment- or supervision-only roles are not offered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to K-12 students with pediatric speech and language needs
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
- Participate in school team meetings and maintain compliance with education regulations
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status required
- Experience working in public schools preferred
- Pediatric speech-language experience is required
- Candidates must be prepared for onsite full-time commitment during the school year
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) may be considered starting April for upcoming openings
