A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for maternity leave coverage at an elementary school in Richmond, TX. This contract position spans from January 5, 2026, through April 17, 2026, and requires on-site presence with no remote work option.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapy to approximately 100 elementary students.
  • Supervise a bilingual SLP Assistant who supports three days per week.
  • Participate in Special Instruction (SI) only Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant state licensure and educational standards.
  • Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Qualifications:

  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP required).
  • Experience working in school settings preferred.
  • Ability to supervise and collaborate with SLP assistants.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • No educator credential is required for this position.
