Speech-Language Pathologist Job Duties

Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student success

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress toward student goals
Federal and State Requirements

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active Missouri SLP License and CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required

Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
