Job Overview

What Does a Travel Contract Mean?
Travel SLP contracts are temporary assignments, usually for a semester or full academic year. They let you serve districts needing coverage while receiving non-taxed housing and meal stipends, competitive pay, and flexibility to relocate when your contract ends. Extensions or renewals may be possible.
Responsibilities

Perform speech, language, and communication evaluations according to district guidelines

Design and implement IEP goals

Provide therapy in both individual and group contexts

Track student progress and manage documentation

Collaborate with teachers and parents to support communication

Participate in IEP and team meetings
Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Missouri SLP licensure (or eligibility prior to start)

CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates welcome

Experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
