Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders
-
Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication and learning
-
Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and parent conferences
-
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications & Requirements:
Applicants must meet Missouri state and local certification requirements for school-based SLPs, including:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Active Missouri Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts

Valid Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) SLP Certificate or eligibility to obtain

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may also be considered

Ability to pass a background check and meet all district employment requirements
