Job Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following requirements specific to Kansas to be eligible:
- Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Kansas Speech Language Pathology license issued by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Must meet any additional district or state-level background requirements
This role supports students with a range of communication needs, helping them reach their full potential within the school environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborating with educators, families, and school teams to provide tailored therapy services
- Maintaining documentation and reporting in compliance with district and state regulations
- Providing both group and individual therapy sessions
