Position Overview:

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all state and local requirements, including:
-
Valid Kansas Speech Language Pathologist License issued by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS)
-
Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) license for school-based practice
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
-
Successful completion of required background check and fingerprinting
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
-
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
-
Provide direct and consultative services to students in individual and group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs
-
Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
-
Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student performance
-
Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and student support planning
