This full-time position begins promptly and continues through late May 2027, offering a rewarding setting to support student success. You’ll work on-site within a collaborative educational environment dedicated to student achievement, utilizing your specialized skill set to assess, diagnose, and provide direct services.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Hold an active North Carolina SLP license (required).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
- Previous school-based SLP experience—demonstrated years of practice is a plus.
- Proficiency using ECATS for educational documentation and reporting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.
- Must be available for on-site delivery of services (remote/VOCO not accepted).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K–12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs); maintain accurate documentation.
- Deliver direct therapy to students in accordance with district and state guidelines.
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to optimize student outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and participate in IEP meetings as needed.
- Participate actively in the school’s multidisciplinary team.
This contract role is full-time (37.5 hours per week), with interviews conducted via Zoom for initial selection efficiency. Supportive, dynamic colleagues and a mission-driven student population create a fulfilling professional environment.
