What You’ll Be Doing
As a School Psychologist in St. Lucie, you will serve as a key advocate for student achievement, emotional well-being, and inclusive education. You’ll work alongside educators, parents, and district professionals to support students in reaching their full potential. Responsibilities may include:

Conducting psychoeducational evaluations and behavioral assessments

Participating in IEP and eligibility meetings

Providing counseling and crisis response services

Supporting the development and implementation of intervention strategies

Consulting with teachers and staff on classroom accommodations and student progress
Your presence will help create a school environment where every student is seen, supported, and set up for success.
Qualifications and Licensure
To be eligible, candidates must meet Florida state requirements for certification as a School Psychologist. A Specialist-level or Master’s degree in School Psychology and a valid certification from the Florida Department of Education are required. Previous school-based experience and strong communication skills are highly valued.
