A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in the Joliet, IL area, specifically serving multiple elementary and junior high schools. This role offers the opportunity to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder across three schools within the district. The caseload includes approximately 35 students, with assignments distributed between one school in Morris, IL (20 students) and two schools in Minooka, IL (8 and 7 students respectively).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students within elementary and junior high settings.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students on the autism spectrum.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication and learning goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required by school policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Proven experience working as an SLP in school settings.
- Strong understanding of ASD and related communication challenges.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Employment Details:
- Full-time contract position for the 2025-2026 school year.
- Workweek of 32.5 to 37.5 hours.
- Position begins ASAP and continues through May 2026.
