School Speech and Language Pathologist | Joliet, Illinois
A part-time position is available for a Speech Language Pathologist providing services in an elementary school setting located in Joliet, IL. This contract role runs from the start date as soon as possible through June 2, 2026, with guaranteed hours totaling 100 minutes per week.
Key qualifications and preferred experience include:
- Certification as an SLP with CCC and CFY credentials
- Experience working in school environments, ideally within elementary education
- Familiarity with AAC devices and experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Responsibilities for this role involve delivering both direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to students within the contracted hours. There are no additional district responsibilities such as bus duty or parent pickups, allowing you to focus solely on providing quality therapeutic care. Travel therapists filling this position will be eligible for stipends to support their work.
