An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with school experience to provide essential support in a K-12 educational setting serving students on the autism spectrum. This full-time contract position spans the 25/26 school year and focuses on a caseload primarily at the elementary and junior high levels.
Location:
- Schools located in Morris and Minooka, Illinois.
- Position supports three schools, with caseload distributions as follows: 20 students at the Morris site, and 8 and 7 students at the two Minooka schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing individualized speech and language therapy to students on the autism spectrum.
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Managing caseload responsibilities across multiple school settings.
- Monitoring student progress and adapting therapy techniques as needed.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Previous experience working as an SLP within a school environment is essential.
- Expertise in supporting children with autism spectrum disorders.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple sites and caseloads.
