This onsite role requires a dedicated professional to provide speech and language services within a school setting, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students to identify communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school policies and regulations
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in Illinois
- Experience working in a school setting, preferably with K-12 students
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
