This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized speech-language pathology services in an early childhood school environment, supporting young learners with speech impairments, developmental delays, and autism. The role requires working onsite with a caseload of 30-40 students, delivering targeted interventions to enhance communication skills and developmental outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to early childhood students within grades served at the school
- Manage a caseload focused on speech-only disabilities, developmental delay, and autism
- Utilize the Embrace IEP system to develop and maintain individualized education plans
- Collaborate with educational teams to monitor progress and adjust therapies accordingly
- Maintain compliance with professional standards and school district policies
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL) with an SLP endorsement
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably within school settings
- Familiarity with developmental delay and autism spectrum disorders
- Ability to work onsite at the designated location, providing direct services
- Knowledge and experience using IEP systems, ideally Embrace
