Pediatric Speech Therapist in Elgin, IL

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year serving a K-8 population in a school setting located in Elgin, IL. This contract position supports elementary and middle school students across multiple campuses, including early childhood caseloads. The role requires delivering services fully on-site with a 40-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services for students in grades K-8
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and school policies
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state Speech-Language Pathology License required
- State Teaching Certificate with eligibility for school-based speech therapy
- State Fingerprint Clearance Card or background check clearance
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings preferred
- Familiarity with early childhood intervention and teletherapy a plus
Location:
- Fully on-site position in Elgin, Illinois
- Serving elementary and middle school students in a K-12 educational environment
