This opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time support for PreK through 4th-grade students during a leave of absence. The position is based in an elementary school located in Newark, NJ, with contract dates spanning from ASAP through April, approximately three to four months in duration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students in grades PreK to 4th.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to create individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention strategies tailored to each student's needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active New Jersey SLP license and NJ Educator License are mandatory.
- Experience working exclusively onsite, as remote service delivery is not permitted for this role.
- Immediate availability to begin work is required.
- Candidates must have maintained an active NJ license within the last year to support archival processes.
- Candidates with support staff credentials such as SLP Assistants or Clinical Fellows will not be considered.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position with a 35-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.
- Location: Onsite in Newark, NJ.
