Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist in Jersey City, NJ
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school located in Jersey City, NJ. This contract role will begin as soon as possible and conclude on June 19, 2026, with a caseload that varies; details will be discussed during the interview process. The position is open to both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs), with supervision provided as needed.
Responsibilities include assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children within a K-12 setting. The SLP will collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide necessary therapeutic interventions. Maintaining accurate records and ongoing progress reports is essential for meeting compliance and student goals.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience working in school-based settings (K-12)
- Pediatric expertise and understanding of speech and language development in children
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged; supervision will be provided
- Ability to manage varying caseloads and adapt treatment plans accordingly
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (K-12 school environment)
