Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Newark, New Jersey
A contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services in a school setting located in Newark, NJ. Five positions are open, including four full-time roles (37.5 hours/week) and one part-time role (25 hours/week). The assignments begin ASAP and continue through the end of the school year (EOSY).
This opportunity primarily involves working onsite across various grade levels, with most openings serving high school students. One full-time position is available for PreK-K, and the part-time opportunity is based at an elementary school.
Key qualifications and requirements for these roles include:
- Valid NJ School Certification
- Credentials relevant to Speech-Language Pathology, including certification in SLP, CCC, SLP Healthcare, Pediatrics, CFY, or School settings
- Experience in school-based speech therapy is preferred to effectively manage caseloads across multiple schools
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language therapy aligned with grade-level needs
- Managing caseloads across up to five schools, primarily high school with some coverage in elementary and early childhood settings
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals
