Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Jefferson, Texas

Step into an impactful role providing speech-language pathology services in an educational setting near Jefferson, TX. As a contract-based SLP, you’ll make a meaningful difference in students’ lives while working alongside a dedicated support staff. With a caseload of approximately 50 students, you will have the opportunity to address a variety of speech, language, and communication needs, helping learners grow and succeed throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) preferred; strong CFY candidates also considered
- Eligible for state licensure as an SLP
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings
- Clinical experience with diverse communication disorders
- Ability to provide effective supervision for SLPAs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for a caseload of 50 students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP documentation
- Supervise and mentor SLPA in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in parent meetings, IEP reviews, and team planning sessions
- Maintain accurate records and submit required documentation
