Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas Speech Language Pathologist License required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience supporting school-aged students (elementary or middle school caseloads preferred)
- Strong collaboration skills to work with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in coordination with the school team
- Maintain accurate documentation of all therapy sessions and student progress
- Facilitate communication goals in both individual and group settings
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to educational decision-making
- Offer support and resources to educators and parents to foster student success
