A contract Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available at an elementary school serving Pre-K through 8th-grade students in New York, NY. This role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a caseload ranging from 20 to 35 students. The assignment begins ASAP and continues through June 12, 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy and interventions tailored to students’ individual needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluation reports and treatment plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
- Support students across a variety of communication disorders within the school setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure or certification appropriate for school-based services.
- Experience or training in delivering speech-language therapy to school-aged children.
- Willingness to work with a diverse student population spanning Pre-K to 8th grade.
- Open to new graduates; supervision provided on-site to support professional development.
- Ability to engage virtually for interviews.
