About the Role: We are seeking talented and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to join our team in the Longview, Texas area. With numerous positions available, you will have the opportunity to provide essential therapy services across various settings, making a significant impact in the lives of your clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- SLPs: Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- SLPAs: Assist SLPs with delivering therapy services, implementing treatment plans, and conducting therapeutic activities under supervision.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of each client.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve therapy goals.
- Manage assignments flexibly, which may include working at a single location or splitting time between multiple sites.
- Address a wide range of speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, and language development.
Qualifications for SLPs:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Texas.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications for SLPAs:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Preferably some experience in a healthcare or educational setting.
- Flexibility with assignments and locations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
