Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY applicants encouraged
- Experience working in a pediatric or school setting is highly valued
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and school-based documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy for children and adolescents
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support students’ communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely records; participate in meetings and contribute to the IEP process
- Offer guidance to classroom staff and contribute to a positive school culture
